Our Story

Matagorda's
neighborhood spot

The Daq Shack started as a simple idea: a place where the folks from down the street and the visitors passing through could pull up a chair and feel like they belong. We opened our doors in 2018 on Fisher Street, right in the heart of Matagorda.

By day, we pour carefully sourced coffee and serve breakfast bites for the early risers and weekend wanderers. By night, the same space transforms — dimmer lights, a rotating cocktail list, and the kind of easy conversation that happens when nobody's in a rush.
